• Class 5 – Operate a drop-sider tipper, nine axle unit and bulk tipping units locally, around the top of the South Island and potential for Interisland work.

• Full-time day shift role, occasional weekend work, and harvest work may require nights and full logbook hours.

• Can load and unload trucks and trailers with a loader, forklift or tractor.

• Can cover, tarp, tie-down and chain loads securely.

• Willingness to be versatile when Class 5 work is quiet, i.e. loader, small tippers, spreading, screening and assisting in the landscape yard.

• Offer skills and experience you already have, help train others and be keen to learn new skills yourself.

• Demonstrate low-risk decision-making to avoid damage in every scenario possible.

• Demonstrate a practical health and safety conscious attitude and understand HMPV permits.

• Show pride, care in the upkeep of gear through cleaning and light maintenance.

• Maintain good rapport with clients, other team members and suppliers.

• Tidy appearance and reasonable physical fitness.

• Serve the landscape client base and make their experience dealing with us exceptional.

• WTR, Forklift, and Class Two would be beneficial and operator experience (we can train further licenses).

• Ability to run a POS system, accurately pricing and charging with high attention to detail.

• Customer service experience or sales /marketing experience would be beneficial.

• Tidy self-presentation, and pride in the products, yard and equipment are very important.

• Enjoy the variety of office work, machinery operating, and deliveries around beautiful Marlborough.

• Day shift Tuesday to Saturday (shorter Sat hours) is what we would prefer but happy to discuss and be flexible to work it out.

• If you have previous operator experience, there is plenty of opportunity to be involved in product manufacturing i.e. screening etc.
